While certain medications may help manage some of the symptoms of Autism, there is not medication that has been developed to help with treatment of ASD. Medications which target anxiety, obsessive compulsive behaviors, and or mood stabilization may help certain students manage their day. However, without proper cognitive, behavioral, and social program intervention, medications will not have any lasting or long term effect.
